The Big Green Fortnight, 15th-31st May 2009

Welcome to the Big Green Fortnight, an environmentally friendly celebration of living greener lifestyles in Bournemouth and Poole. Set to be a fantastic community event for everyone, this is your chance to get involved in some unique and fun green activities, such as the Big Green Bus tour with celebrity Brigit Strawbridge, films, gigs and family events such as walks and cycle rides. Pick your events from the Green list and Go Green in Bournemouth and Poole.

Big Green Bus
The Big Green Bus used to be a Bournemouth Yellow Bus but then joined the environmental charity The Big Green Idea. The Big Green Bus will be visiting Bournemouth and Poole schools during National Walk to School Week (18th-23rd May) and as an add-on will be circulating Bournemouth and Poole during the fortnight so that everyone can benefit. The Bus will be crewed by Brigit and her band of volunteers and they will be keen to answer all your green questions, along with demonstrations and talks.
