'Hi everyone, how about joining me and the BGI in taking part in the Wildfowl and Wetland Trusts Wildest Hide & Seek survey?' asks BGI volunteer Fiona. As part of a long term study, the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust is investigating the relationships between the ponds and wetlands in our gardens and local parks, and the wildlife that relies on them. If you can spare one or two hours between 21 – 30 May, please spend them watching wildlife in your garden or local park. Hide yourself quietly to watch for what animals are about. Then have a look around to seek out any that might be hiding there. It doesn’t matter whether there’s water there or not – in fact we need plenty of people doing this who aren’t near a wetland.
