We aim to do this in an accessible and hands-on way - using our specially adapted eco-bus which is now ready to take bookings for 2009!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who made a donation to the BGI this month via the Big Give website. We haven’t received the final tally yet, but believe it to be in excess of £12,000.

The Big Green Idea would like to thank its friends and sponsors.

RSPB BIG SCHOOLS’ BIRDWATCH - 19th to 30th January, 2009

In 2008, over 45,000 UK school children stuck black paper with eye-slits on classroom windows, put up bird posters, borrowed binoculars, made bird feeders out of old plastic bottles, and told them about which birds they spotted in their school grounds.
