Donating Valuables
Do you not have much money readily available to make a donation, but have valuables sitting unused in drawers, cupboards or the attic? Or maybe you have inherited something from a loved one that you don’t use but can’t bring yourself to sell and would rather it went to a good cause?
Donating such items to The Big Green Idea can allow us to convert them into assets for the charity. This can then help us run some of our projects such as the Big Green Bus and school visits, which are aimed at helping indviduals to act more responsibly and sustainably. Rather than gathering dust unseen and unused, your items could be helping teach a new generation how to care for, and live in harmony with, the natural world.
The first step in making such a donation is to contact us and describe the item(s) that you wish to donate. Including photographs of the item(s) can help us at this stage, as we may need to contact specialists to establish estimates of their value. We will then discuss with you the donation and how we can best make use of it.
So why keep something lurking at home when it could be out in the world helping to make a difference? Please consider donating your
unused valuables to The Big Green Idea!
Thank you!
