Great news ... the new engine is all but in and I'm hoping to collect the bus from Swindon next Thursday morning! Mike Ellis has kindly agreed to drive it to its new home just outside Malvern and we then have just over six weeks to ramp up for our first event of the year in Exeter City Centre on Saturday 28th March.

I'll be getting details soon from Exeter City Council about the event and will make sure we post them in the news section and home page of the website as soon as they arrive.

We have some great photos from Bob Gillespie of the old engine being removed and the new one being fitted, but as he has done the work and is able to explain the ins and outs of all things ‘Gardner' related, I'll leave him to write all about it in the next blog. I hope that's OK Bob!
