14-01-09 Bus UpdateI went over to Thamesdown Transport in Swindon yesterday to take delivery of our reconditioned Gardner engine! Although I was obviously extremely excited to be seeing the new engine (and to know that it would now be on site and ready to fit), I have to admit to being more than a little concerned about seeing the bus itself, for a couple of different reasons. 14-12-08 Bus to visit WorcestershireWell, I'm delighted to announce that we have our first confirmed Big Green Bus booking for 2009!!!! By spring next year, I expect booking confirmations will be coming in thick and fast, but this one's very exciting because it's the first! More →

28-10-08 Mending engines and 2009Goodness me ... it’s been nearly three weeks since we took the bus to the Bradford on Avon event and I’m still buzzing with the excitement of it all! 23-09-08 Yesterday was ‘Re-licensing and MOT day’ for the bus!I went over to meet Andy and Mike the Sparky at Shobdon, near Leominster, where the bus is having its last few weeks of refitting. Mike had taken the day off work and came over from Cheltenham with some trade plates so that he could drive the bus to and from its test for us. More →
