There are only two days left of our Big Green Bus tour of Bournemouth and Poole now. Today we will be at Montecute special school in Poole, tomorrow (Saturday) we will be outside the Pavilion in Bournemouth and then we head back to Worcestershire on Sunday morning. More

22-04-09 What did you do today to celebrate Earth Day?

The Big Green Bus crew had a fantastic sunshine-filled day out at ‘The Fold’, near Worcester (http://www.thefold.co.uk) where we met loads of lovely people. Most of the visitors had come especially because they knew the bus was going to be there, but some had spotted the bus on the way past and called in to see what it was all about. We also had an extended visit from Radio Hereford & Worcester who gave their listeners a guided tour of the bus and interviewed us about the charity. More

I've spoken with Bob from Thamesdown Transport, so now I fully understand which batteries we need for the bus and why. Apparently it's all to do with the ‘cranking value' - and making sure our batteries are a minimum 665 amp-hour. Piece of cake! More
