It's late evening on Saturday 28th November - ‘Buy Nothing Day' - and I've just come back from an amazing (and FREE!) day out in Bristol. Mark Boyle and other members of the ‘freeconomy' community had set themselves the seemingly impossible task of gathering together enough ingredients, with no cash changing hands, to provide a feast for 300+ people for free... and they succeeded! I've just been reading our November newsletter and thinking how wonderful it would be to get all our regular writers in the same place, at the same time, to pick their brains on the subjects they all know and write about so well. I've just come back from a long weekend in London (went to see Fleetwood Mac concert as a belated 50th birthday treat from my daughter Charlotte) and although I don't think I would ever want to live there, I'm green with envy having seen the amazing variety of market food on offer all over the city. And I think I may just have discovered what I believe to be the most delicious chocolate in the world!!! More →
